You should set your container 3 feet or closer to the curb and 3 feet away from any other object. It should be set out by 6am on your garbage day.
If your garbage collection day falls on a holiday your garbage will be collected on that Wednesday instead. Example #1: If your garbage day is on Monday and Monday is Memorial Day it will be picked up on Wednesday. Example #2: If your garbage day is Thursday and Thursday is Thanksgiving Day your garbage will be collected the day before on Wednesday.
Appliances cannot be mixed with normal household or commercial trash. You can arrange special appliance pickup for a fee by contacting us.
No, yard waste cannot be mixed with normal household or commercial trash. Yard waste can be dropped off at the city dump located on 7th Street NW, behind B & B Salvage.
Larger items can be picked up by contacting us for a small fee. Larger items will only be picked up if they are outside your residence.
Extra garbage and special pickups will be hauled by contacting our office to arrange pickup.
We can dispose of paint cans that are either empty or where the paint is completely hardened. The lids need to be removed so we can see the contents of the container. Chemicals should not be disposed of in the garbage. If they are full please call for information regarding hazardous waste removal. Empty containers can be placed in the proper container for either trash or recycle.
Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8am-12pm and 1-4pm and Fridays 8am-12pm and 1pm-3:30pm.
When you are moving from one location to another in Sioux Center, your garbage container stays at the original house that that container was assigned to. If you want a larger can or an extra can please contact us and one will be brought out.

Location is very important. The dumpster must be in an area that is free of obstacles. This ensures the driver will be able to back-up to the dumpster to empty it.

NO, all glass bottles (pop, beer and wine) need to be in their original container or a cardboard box. Glass will not be accepted in plastic or garbage bags.

To help protect the environment all shredded material is baled and shipped to paper mills. The material is re-pulped and processed into white office paper or tissue paper.
The binders can harm our shredding equipment and we ask that you do your best to keep them out of the shredding containers.
